BOQ will be performing scheduled maintenance that will cause a temporary interruption to some online credit card services, from 12:00am to 1:00am AEST on Monday, 9 March 2026.
You can continue to use your credit card in‑store and online during this maintenance window. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Friday 06/03/26 6:00pm - The technical issue causing our BOQ Classic mobile app to be unavailable for customers has now been resolved, you will now be able to log in as usual. We’re really sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
Friday 06/03/26 4:00pm - We’re experiencing a technical issue causing our BOQ Classic Mobile Banking app to be unavailable for some customers.
We’re investigating the cause of the issue and will keep this page updated with any additional information you need to know, so check back if you’re having any issues.
While the issue is ongoing:
- You can log into BOQ internet banking to manage your accounts
- You can continue to use your cards for payments
myBOQ is doing some maintenance on our digital banking systems this weekend which will involve some interruption to our regular services.
Our myBOQ online banking services will be unavailable from 2:30am to 6:00am AEST on Sunday, 8 March 2026.
Services you can’t access during the maintenance window:
- myBOQ mobile app
- myBOQ internet banking
Services you can access during the maintenance window:
- In store or online purchases with your debit card (including digital wallets). Reduced limits may apply.
- Transfers made to your transaction account on Sunday morning may be delayed. We recommend making sure you have sufficient funds for any planned purchases, bills or transactions available in advance if you think you’ll need it.
- Withdraw funds from ATMs using debit cards. Reduced limits may apply. We recommend getting cash out in advance if you think you’ll need it.

Scammers may pose as representatives from reputable and trustworthy organisations, like a bank, to trick you into providing your personal or account information.
To protect yourself from scams:
- Make sure you never provide remote access to your electronic devices, no matter how legitimate the caller may seem.
- Never disclose private banking details like your PIN, passwords or one-time verification codes to anyone, not even someone calling from BOQ.
- Don’t click any third party links received in emails or SMS, even if they claim to be in reference to your banking.
- If something seems suspicious, make contact by phone through a verified website to find out more.
