BOQ assists employees to map out their individual career journey through a range of professional development tools. An example includes our professional development agreement program which can assist you identify opportunities to achieve your career goals and aspirations.


BOQ’s Study Assistance Program, learning and development courses, job rotation programs, secondments and on-the-job training are also other avenues which can enhance employees’ skills and knowledge.

 

Study Assistance Program

reading manThe Study Assistance Program helps employees complete undergraduate degrees, post-graduate diplomas and degrees, TAFE programs and other business-relevant courses with financial and mentoring support.

 

Employees at all levels have access to a range of internal, external and online courses, including a new Harvard Business Publishing developed suite for people managers designed to move people along their career path and ensure employees are given the tools and knowledge to accomplish their roles successfully.

 

Graduate Program

GradsThis program offers university graduates a unique link from study to work, with places advertised mid-year. The graduate program centres on a planned rotation which gives graduates exposure to a range of professions and business areas across the Bank. One-on-one mentoring is a key component of the program which assists in providing each graduate with a comprehensive understanding of banking and the chance to build a network of contacts.
