The B105 Christmas Appeal, of which Bank of Queensland is the major sponsor, has raised more than half a million dollars for Brisbane’s Royal Children’s Hospital.
The Appeal has again touched the lives of sick and injured kids, with the money going to fund important paediatric research and purchase life-saving equipment to better diagnose, monitor and treat hundreds of 'little people' at the RCH.
Managing Director David Liddy said support for the B105 Christmas Appeal never fell short of amazing and the Bank was proud to be integrally involved.
“The support shown by everyone involved with the Appeal has contributed to saving and improving thousands of children’s lives,” Mr Liddy said.
“I am also very proud of the many Bank employees who directly assisted the Appeal, both in fundraising and by volunteering on the phone hotline in their own time.
“Bank of Queensland has been a major partner of the B105 Christmas Appeal for the past three years, building on a history of supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital which goes back several years,” he said.
“I look forward to continuing and building on that relationship with this fantastic cause for many years to come.”
