Bank of Queensland is enhancing its service to the Acacia Ridge community by appointing experienced local banker Gavin Pingel as the new Branch Manager.
Mr Pingel, who brings 25 years of banking and finance experience to the branch, said he was looking forward to using his expertise to build long and rewarding relationships with the local community.
“I moved to Bank of Queensland as I believe they are a big small bank with big ideas about how customers should be treated. We really do want our customers to feel wanted.
“We give our staff room to listen to the customers about their aims, and my team are genuinely interested in our customers’ goals and can assist with solutions.
“With my experience in both Business and Retail Banking, our customers can be confident in the knowledge that they will be dealing with a Manager who understands their needs and is dedicated to helping them prosper.
“My focus will be providing a superior level of personal and business customers, providing genuinely friendly atmosphere where they will enjoy a trip to the Bank. Reliability will be a big focus. We will deliver on our promises.
Mr Pingel said that the location of the branch was another benefit.
“The branch is easily accessible with plenty of parking at the front door, a modern, spacious office providing facilities for on-site interviews in a private atmosphere.
“In saying all that, I am more than willing to come out to visit customers at their homes or businesses, if they prefer. Customers are our business, and my focus will be on making them feel wanted.”
Managing Director David Liddy said that experienced bankers like Mr Pingel help make Bank of Queensland a ‘different’ banking experience.
“The Bank aims to have experienced local bankers in all of our branches, and Gavin Pingel is a great example of a member of the local community coming on board to offer a friendly and personalised service experience.”
