Bank of Queensland has revamped its Sunshine Coast presence with the appointment of two experienced new branch managers at Maroochydore and Kawana Waters.
The two new managers have 23 years of experience between them and are looking forward to making a difference to the communities they operate in.
Mr Jason Fraser, who brings more than 17 years of banking and finance experience to the Maroochydore area, said he was looking forward to using his expertise to build long and rewarding relationships with the local community.
“I believe Bank of Queensland really is a big small bank with big ideas about how customers should be treated. We really do want our customers to feel wanted,” he said.
“We give our staff room to listen to the customers about their aims, and my team are genuinely interested in our customers’ goals and can assist with solutions.
“With my experience in both Business and Retail Banking, our customers can be confident in the knowledge that they will be dealing with a Manager who understands their needs and is dedicated to helping them prosper.
“My focus will be providing a superior level of personal and business customers, providing a genuinely friendly atmosphere where they will enjoy a trip to the Bank. Reliability will be a big focus. We will deliver on our promises.”
Mr Fraser said that the location of the branch was another benefit.
“I also think the location of our branch and the facilities there are a real positive, and make dropping in to the branch easier for our customers.
“We have customer parking available at the rear of the branch, and our Business Banking Centre and Regional Team are both located next door, so we have experts on hand to deal with all of our customers’ banking needs – from personal finances to their business banking. We’re a one-stop-shop!
“In saying all that, I am more than willing to come out to visit customers at their homes or businesses, if they prefer. Customers are our business, and my focus will be on making them feel wanted.”
The newly appointed manager of the Kawana Waters branch, Miss Vicki Brown, echoed Mr Fraser’s comments.
“I believe, with our focus on customer service and our different way of operating, that we can really be a challenger to the other players in the market,” said Miss Brown.
“As anyone in the service industry knows, if your priority isn’t customer service, you’re kidding yourself. And customer service really is my number one priority.
“So, if you’re not happy with the service you’re getting through your current banking arrangement, come and talk to us! We’d be more than happy to show you just how different we are.”
Bank of Queensland is in a massive growth phase at the moment, with BOQ Managing Director David Liddy recently announcing that the branch network was expanding to Tasmania and South Australia, giving the Bank a national reach for the first time.
