A long-term Gap local, Justin Rule, has been appointed as Branch Manager of The Gap branch of Bank of Queensland.
Justin, who is a third generation Gap resident, brings six years of banking experience to the branch, including five in small business.
Justin said was looking forward to focusing on his local community.
“As a resident of The Gap I understand why people want to live here, and I applied for the position of Branch Manager here because I really want to support the community in which I live and bring a local perspective back to the branch.
“I want to be face to face with my customers regularly. I pride myself on my personal touch.
“I think people of The Gap want to be listened to by their Bank Manager rather than being just another loan customer. I want to invite people into my branch to discuss their financial goals and dreams so I can help them achieve these goals.
“I want to offer our customers prompt reliable service with quick turn-around times.”
Justin brings five years of small business lending experience to the area, and specialises in home lending, general business lending, equipment finance, trade and international finance, and debtor finance.
“So I’d invite any local businesses who aren’t currently that happy with their banking arrangements to come down and have a chat to me at the branch.
“But obviously we’d also welcome any local residents who are interested in talking to someone about their personal banking needs.”
Justin is an active member of the local community having played in the local rugby union club, been a member of The Gap Scout group and been a member of The Gap Little Athletics “though that was a long time ago!” he adds.
The Gap branch of Bank of Queensland is located at The Gap Shopping Village, 992 to 1000 Waterworks Road. Justin and his team are contactable on 3300 1044 or you can phone Justin direct on 0413 744 471.
