Toowong business owners get ahead with BOQ

Local business owners will have the opportunity to get ahead with Bank of Queensland Toowong’s free seminar series, “Building a Better Business”, starting on 1 May.

The seminars will provide local business owners and their people the opportunity to discover a variety of cost-effective ways to improve the overall performance of their business.

The seminar series will be presented by Alan Bignell and Gavin Ryan, Business Development Specialists from CAD Partners.

Bank of Queensland Toowong Branch Manager Claire Duffy is eager to get the seminars started.

“Providing the latest industry information to our clients is our first priority.

“These seminars allow us to reward our clients for the hard work they put into their business on a daily basis.”

The four part seminar series will cover:

  • Creating a winning business - Tuesday, 1 May 2007
  • Creating a business that runs on autopilot – with or without you! - Tuesday, 29 May 2007
  • Leading, managing and motivating your staff - Tuesday, 26 June 2007
  • Effective sales and marketing - Tuesday, 24 July 2007

Ms Duffy said that the content of the seminars was based on feedback provided by their business clients from the local area.

“Choosing the content for the seminars was quite easy; it was determining the structure in which to present the seminars that was most critical.”

“Clients often talk about attending various seminars that don’t provide the information that was promised or the information was delivered in a confusing manner, so it is extremely important that we got it right – and we have.”

Any local business owners who are interested in attending the four part seminar series “Building a Better Business” should contact Claire Duffy at Bank of Queensland Toowong on 07 3871 6300.
