A new Owner-Manager has taken over the Bank of Queensland branch at Fairfield, drawn to the area by the strong growth prospects.
The new Owner-Manager, Binh Quoc Tran, is an experienced financial professional with more than four years in the mortgage industry, said the area’s riverside location and proximity to the city meant it was only going to increase in popularity.
“Fairfield is well-placed to become a centre of massive growth within Brisbane.
“Its proximity to the city and its riverside location, combined with the local infrastructure, mean that it is popular with families and professionals working in the CBD.
“It’s a very exciting place to be right now and I am really looking forward to getting to know the local community and inviting them in to the branch for a chat.
“My experience has taught me that bank customers want to deal with a bank that is accessible, locally based and understands the local community – everything the Bank of Queensland Fairfield will offer,” said Mr Tran.
“Ownership of my own small business – the branch - allows me to understand the goals and operations of other small businesses and their need for personalised service,” he said.
“I see a lot of potential in the Fairfield area and am here to support the development and growth of the local area as well as the wider community.”
Bank of Queensland Fairfield is located at Fairfield Gardens Shopping Centre, 180 Fairfield Road and can be contacted on 3846 3488.
