Bank of Queensland continues to lead the industry in relationship banking, with an expansive new banking centre opening in Brisbane’s CBD next month.
The new banking centre has been designed to meet customers’ business and personal banking needs in one place and is the first banking centre of its kind in Brisbane’s CBD.
BOQ Managing Director David Liddy said the Bank saw the new centre as a one-stop-shop for customers’ financial needs.
“We identified that there was a need for a banking centre that enabled our city-based customers to come and talk to us, at their convenience, about both their personal and business banking needs.
“Our new branch will house business bankers, personal bankers, and private bankers, all under one roof, to ensure that our customers need make only one trip to manage their banking needs.”
Mr Liddy also believes that the new branch reinforces to Brisbane BOQ customers the Bank’s commitment to the Brisbane CBD.
“This will be our fifth branch in the CBD alone and demonstrates that, while we are constantly looking at new markets to expand into, we remain as committed ever to our hometown of Brisbane.”
The new super-branch joins BOQ’s ever-expanding network, which currently sits at 225 branches in every Australian state and territory.
Mr Liddy said: “Once again, BOQ has identified a market requirement that is not being met by any of our competitors, and has jumped at the opportunity to make life easier for our customers.”
The new branch will be located at 420 George Street, in the heart of the legal district.
