Up to 51 credit-free days
As a charge card, a full payment of the amount owing is required on receipt of the statement. However, breathing space between the day you purchase an item and the day the bill is due provides a welcome cushion to your business cashflow.^
No pre-set spending limit+
The Business Gold Card provides your business with flexible purchasing power, by allowing you access to the funds you need, when you need them. If you are intending to make a larger than normal purchase, we will review the charge and provide you with an approval decision within minutes so you can enjoy the freedom to respond to any business opportunity as it arrives.
Easier financial management
Your Business Gold Card makes tax claims much simpler. A monthly statement sets out all your expenditure with GST breakdowns on most purchases. You can also download your card account details and available GST breakdowns directly into a range of software packages including Quicken®, MYOB®, Microsoft® Money and Excel. And, by covering your business expenses with one monthly payment, you could also save on bank transaction fees and interest.
Supplementary Cards
Additional Supplementary Cards can be issued to staff members for an annual Card fee of $119 per Card per year. All points earned on Supplementary Cards will also be credited to your Membership Rewards account.#
Online account details
Manage your account online any time 24 hours a day seven days a week, with American Express online services. You can view your balances and keep track of your business expenditure. All transaction are updated daily and you can view up to three months of account history.
Simply visit www.americanexpress.com.au and register for online services to enrol. When you become a user of online services you will need to choose a unique user ID and Password for easy access.

Free international and domestic travel cover*
Automatically activated whenever you book travel using your Business Gold Card or use your Membership Rewards points, the free international and domestic travel insurance offers you peace of mind and may offer your business real savings. The cover offers protection against trip cancellation, medical emergency expenses, baggage and personal liability and covers accompanying spouse/partner and dependant children plus Supplementary Cardmembers on your account.

24 hour emergency Card replacement
You can take advantage of our 24 hour emergency Card replacement service in the event of a lost or stolen card.
Emergency cheque cashing
Personal cheques for up to $1,000 can be cashed through the American Express Travel service network once every 7 days in Australia and once every 21 days if travelling overseas.
Global Assist Hotline
For medical or legal emergencies, English speaking Global Assist Hotline representatives will refer customers to local practitioners, virtually anywhere in the world. The service operates 24 hours a day.

Paying my Bank of Queensland Business Gold Card
For your convenience, payment of your Bank of Queensland Business Gold Card can be made a number of ways, giving you the freedom to bank your own way.
- At any branch of Bank of Queensland - please note that you will need to show your Business Gold Card statement in order to make a payment in branch. In branch payment can be either cash or Bank of Queensland cheque.
- At any American Express Travel / Service or Foreign Exchange office (fee applies).
- By mail - your monthly statement contains an envelope that will be sent directly to American Express for processing.
- At any Australia Post office (fee applies).
- Using American Express's online payments facility
