"Fair Use" Policy
It is important to us that all eligible customers enjoy the benefits of the Everyday Business Account and Unlimited Business Account™. Therefore, we have devised a “Fair Use” policy for these accounts that all customers must follow to ensure the accounts are not used in an excessive or unreasonable manner, as defined below.
We reserve the right to vary the terms and conditions of the “Fair Use” policy at any time.
Excessive or Unreasonable Use
In the case of transactions performed on the Everyday Business Account and Unlimited Business Account™, more than 300 transactions per month will be deemed excessive or unreasonable use. The transactions that are subject to the “Fair Use” policy for the Everyday Business Account and Unlimited Business Account™ are listed below.
Everyday Business Account
Transactions are defined as follows:
- Branch Withdrawals
- Cheques Written
- Direct Debits
- Direct Credits
- Bank of Queensland ATM/EFTPOS withdrawals and transfers*
- Funds Transfers and BPAY via Internet Banking
- Single Pay Anyone or Funds Transfers to a third party Bank of Queensland account via Internet Banking or Single Pay Anyone or Funds Transfers to a third party Bank of Queensland credit card via Internet Banking
Unlimited Business Account™ - no longer for sale
Transactions are defined as follows:
- Over the Counter
- Cheques Written
- Cheques Deposited
- Direct Entry (Direct Debits and Direct Credits)
- Bank of Queensland ATM/EFTPOS withdrawals and transfers*
- Funds Transfers and BPAY via Internet Banking
- Single Pay Anyone or Funds Transfers to a third party Bank of Queensland account via Internet Banking or Single Pay Anyone or Funds Transfers to a third party Bank of Queensland credit card via Internet Banking
- Multi Payment via Internet Banking or Multi Pay Anyone or Payroll Payments via Internet Banking*
Our Rights
Where you are in breach of this “Fair Use” policy, we may contact you to discuss your transaction behaviour and request that you conform to this “Fair Use” policy.
If, after we have contacted you, your excessive or unreasonable use continues, we may, without further notice to you, convert your account to a Business Cheque Account, where transaction fees may be applicable.
