QLD Special Trust Account
Our trust account that is used for depositing funds that are to be held on trust until completion of a client’s contract. Real estate agents, auctioneers and commercial agents, such as motor dealers, generally use this account. Our Special Trust Account complies with trust account legislative requirements in the Property Agents and Motor Dealers Act (QLD) 2000 and Trust Accounts Act (QLD) 1973.
Features and benefits
- the funds may then be invested in accordance with the client’s direction for a period of at least 60 days
- prior to completion of the relevant contract, the money is to be withdrawn from the investment and deposited into the licensee’s QLD Special Trust Account
- standard monthly account maintenance fee of $6.00 is waived whenever you hold a minimum monthly balance of $5,000
