QLD Special Trust Account
Our trust account that is used for depositing funds that are to be held on trust until completion of a client’s contract. Real estate agents, auctioneers and commercial agents, such as motor dealers, generally use this account.
Features and benefits
- the funds may then be invested in accordance with the client’s direction for a period of at least 60 days
- prior to completion of the relevant contract, the money is to be withdrawn from the investment and deposited into the licensee’s QLD Special Trust Account
- standard monthly account maintenance fee of $6.00 is waived whenever you hold a minimum monthly balance of $5,000

Special Trust Account complies with trust account legislative requirements in the Property Agents and Motor Dealers Act (QLD) 2000 and Trust Accounts Act (QLD) 1973.
