Banking on our Kids appeal

Bank of Queensland’s signature charity event, Banking on our Kids, is held throughout July each year to raise funds for sick and injured kids around Australia.

All money raised goes to Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia (CHFA), a partnership of children’s hospital foundations in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia and South Australia.   

Now in its fourth year, Banking on our Kids mobilises the Bank's entire national network of 280 BOQ and Home Building Society branches, business banking centres, state administration centres and head office staff.

Last year, Bank of Queensland almost tripled its target, raising $90,000 to help sick kids get better, quicker.

BOQ is encouraging people right across the country to get behind this year’s appeal, and any fundraising events being conducted in their local community, and make it the biggest ever by blitzing the $100,000 mark.

On average, more than 300 children are admitted each day to our children’s hospitals. Many of them have to go through painful, frustrating or frightening treatments and Bank of Queensland is working hard to make life happier and healthier for these children and their families.
