Frequently asked questions - BPay

How can I pay a bill vis EasyPhone Banking?

After signing into EasyPhone Banking the system will ask “What would you like to do?”, just say “Pay a bill” and then follow the voice prompts.  You will then be required to enter the Biller Code and Customer Reference Number using your telephone keypad for the bill you wish to pay.

Can I make BPAY payments from a Credit Card?

Individual Billers may or may not accept payments from credit card accounts. If the Biller does not accept credit card payments you will be asked if you wish the transaction to proceed as a cash advance.

Note:  If you choose to proceed with the payment, this would mean that interest is charged in the same manner as for any other cash advance.

Can I make BPAY payments to a Bank of Queensland credit card?

Yes.  Bank of Queensland Cards is now a BPAY Biller.  The Biller Code is 91215 and customers should use their credit card number as the Customer Reference Number when making payments to their Bank of Queensland credit card.

What is the daily limit for BPAY?

The daily limit for BPAY transactions via EasyPhone Banking is $3,000.

When does the Biller receive my bill payment?

If a bill payment is made before the cut off time of 5pm (AEST) on a working day, the Biller will usually receive the payment on the next working day. If a bill payment is made after this time or on a weekend, the Biller will usually receive the payment on the second working day after the payment was requested.
