Who can access Internet Banking?

Internet Banking can be accessed by the following types of users:

  • Customer – an individual customer of the Bank of Queensland (the Account Holder)
  • Authoriser – a person required to authorise transactions and requests on behalf of a customer. An authoriser will also be a signatory of the customer. Where the account authority requires it there will be more than one Authoriser associated with an Internet Banking profile. For example, company accounts, individual joint accounts etc.
  • Delegated user - is a person who is delegated the authority to act on behalf of a Customer / Authoriser / Delegated User or Related Account User (the Delegator) on all or a subset of the account / limits to which the Delegator has access.  Click here for more information on how create delegated users.
  • Related Account User - a person who is a signatory on a business account and who has individual operating authority, to access the account using his or her personal Internet banking profile (this avoids the need to use two separate Customer Access Numbers and Personal Access Codes to access the personal account and the business account).
