How to apply

You can apply online via BOQApply for a Reverse Charges Account™.

For all other Everyday Banking Accounts, gather all your required personal information (see the list below) and drop into your nearest branch.

Gather relevant information

• your name, address, date of birth and occupation
• details of the name of the account
• whether the account will be held in a trust
• details of all signatories to the account
• any other name by which you or any signatories may be known (such as a maiden name)
• your Tax File Number (TFN) (not compulsory).

New Customers

If you are not already a customer, please contact one of our branches to determine what identification is required to open your Account.

Generally you can satisfy our idenficiation requirements by providing the following:

1. A current Australian drivers licence
2. A valid Australian passport
