Apply for a personal loan

You can apply for a variable rate Unsecured Personal Loan online via BOQApply. Applications should take no more than 20 minutes to complete.

Your application will be securely sent to Bank of Queensland, you will be contacted within two bank business days and advised of your application status.

If you don’t have time to apply online, you can download the application form (PDF 145kb), complete, sign the consent form and return to any branch.

Once you have submitted your application form, an appointment with one of our lending staff will be arranged for you to discuss the various loan options available.

You will need the following information:

what you earn each month (wages, salaries and other)
your most recent payslip (original)
details of who you work for - including name, phone number and address
details of any existing loans, such as personal loans, leasing and any other personal debts such as credit cards
details of savings and investments, including account details, account number and credit balances
your driver's licence number and expiry date.

New customers

If you are not already a customer, please contact one of our branches to determine what identification is required to open your Account.

Generally you can satisfy our idenficiation requirements by providing the following:

A current Australian drivers licence
A valid Australian passport
