Some accounts require two or more signatories to approve transactions. Internet Banking has the facility for these same rules to be applied online for equivalent Internet Banking transactions.
If the transaction you are performing requires additional approval from another authorised user or users on this account the Request Authorisation screen will appear.
Typically for Two-to-Sign accounts, the Authorisation count will indicate "1 of 2" when the Request Authorisation screen appears for the second authoriser.
To complete this transaction you may need to have one or more authorised users approve this transaction. Authorisers on this account will be notified of pending authorisation requests via Secure Mail.
If you as the initiator have the appropriate authority, the count indicator will recognises you as the default 1st Authoriser, and therefore indicate that the next Authoriser will satisfy the number of Authorisers required to approve this transaction.
