If your Internet Banking profile has been set up with multiple authorisations (similar to the use of multiple signatories on offline accounts), some requests and transactions may require further authorisation before they are completed.

The Authorisation notification screen will alert you to the fact that your International/RTGS Payment is awaiting authorisation. This notification includes details of:

  • the number of authorisations required, and
  • names of the Authorised Users who can action this request.

Until authorisation is completed by the required number of listed Authorisers, this International/RTGS Payment will not be processed.

If you are an Authoriser, any pending authorisations will appear on the notifications area on the Home page and on the Authorisations tab within the Transfer & BPAY® menu.

Please note that for International Payments, BOQ uses real time exchange rates and as a result the foreign currency exchange rates provided will change throughout the day.  Therefore after the final authorisation has been received the AUD payment amount for your International Payment may change when you finalise the exchange rates used.

Actions available:

Button Action
Done  To close the Authorisation notification screen and return to the International Payments or the Transfers & BPAY Menu
