The Accounts area on the Home Screen displays a number of details about your accounts as follows:
The Quick Access Number (QAN) is an identification number for each of your registered accounts that will be used for SMS account balance or transaction enquiries if you request this service. This number can be set by you on the Quick Access Number tab accessed via the SMS menu option (selectable when you hover over the More menu option).
This is the name of your account. By default this name will be the type of account (e.g. Reverse Charges Account, Line of Credit, etc). You can use the Rename function to give each account your own label (e.g. Rent Account). This can be useful to help distinguish between multiple accounts of the same type.
The account identification number for each registered account. This is the number set by the Bank when your account is established and cannot be changed.
The current balance of your account. This amount includes uncleared funds such as cheques that have not been cleared. For credit cards, the balance figure represents the balance at the close of the previous business day.
From time to time your balance may be temporarily unavailable. If this occurs the word 'Unavailable' will be displayed in place of your balance and we suggest that you try the Internet Banking service at a later time to get these details.
The amount of available funds that may be withdrawn from your account. Note: Different limits apply for Credit Card cash advances. The cash advance limit is the same as your credit limit, over-payments are excluded and not available for cash advance.
Withdrawals may not be permitted from some Home Loans, Business Loans, Personal Loans and from Premier Investment Accounts.
From time to time your available funds balance may be temporarily unavailable. If this occurs, the word 'Unavailable' will be displayed in place of your available funds amount. We suggest that you try the Internet Banking service at a later time to get these details.
