Unlike emails, messages sent from the Internet Banking secure mail service are sent and received in the same secure environment as your other Internet Banking services. Secure mail messages are encrypted using 128 bit SSL encryption. They cannot be intercepted and read by a third party, ensuring that all of your account information remains secure. 

Messages sent through this service will only be sent to BOQ's Customer Contact Centre. They cannot be addressed or copied to any other recipients.

Please note: If a delegated user has a view component for every function on each account they can access, they will be able to view all secure mail messages sent and received. This will include secure mail messages which are related to accounts that the delegated user may not have access to.
