The Account Alerts screen allows you to set-up alerts about your accounts. An SMS alert can be requested to let you know when a future dated or recurring payment greater than a specific dollar value has occurred on your account. For example, if a scheduled payment greater than $1,000 is made from your savings account you would be notified by SMS.

At the top of the Account Alerts screen is a list of the account alerts you have requested. You can add new alerts or delete alerts from this list at any time. It is not possible to edit an alert. You will need to delete the existing alert and request a new alert for the account.

Below this list are two drop down boxes. You can use these to request additional Account Alerts.

To request a new account alert:

  1. Click the SMS menu option (available under the More menu button).
  2. The SMS Settings screen will display - select the Account Alerts tab.
  3. Use the Select Account drop down box to choose the account you wish this alert to apply to.
  4. Enter the Minimum Amount that you wish to receive an alert for. Any transaction over this amount will trigger an alert.
  5. Select Add to add the selected SMS service to your Internet Banking service.

To delete an account alert:

  1. Click the SMS menu option (available under the More menu button).
  2. The SMS Settings screen will display - select the Account Alerts tab.
  3. Click the SMS Alert (under the Account column) in the Requested Account SMS Alerts list.
  4. Click Delete from the yellow row displayed.
  5. When the confirmation pop-up message displays, select OK to continue and delete this SMS Alert, or select Cancel to stop the deletion.
