Major Community Partner- Orange Sky Australia {yellow-border}

Orange Sky’s mission is to positively connect communities by providing free safe hot showers and clean clothes to those doing it tough around Australia. Orange Sky is focused on creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or who feel disconnected from community.

Each year, we dedicate the month of July to ‘Orange Sky July’ where our people come together to raise funds and awareness through our offices and branches.

Our people are also proud to volunteer their time to support Orange Sky through their ‘Empower Pack Program’, where BOQ Group employees can work a one-off shift with Orange Sky, and get a first-hand understanding of the impact they have on people doing it tough across Australia.

Along with financial support and volunteering opportunities, BOQ is proud to share knowledge and skills with Orange Sky’s people and to host Orange Sky events and sessions at our corporate headquarters.

Since partnering with Orange Sky in 2019, the partnership has helped enable:

• 4,753 Orange Sky shifts
• 28,521 loads of laundry
• 19,014 hot, safe showers
• 38,028 hours of genuine connection

Major Sponsor - Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) {yellow-border}

BOQ is proud to be the presenting partner of the Ekka, uniting two iconic Queensland institutions with a shared commitment to supporting regional communities and celebrating the best of the Sunshine State.

The Ekka is Queensland’s largest and most beloved annual event, attracting around 400,000 visitors each August to the Brisbane Showgrounds. Since 1876, it has brought the country to the city, showcasing agriculture, rural traditions, and family entertainment.

Launching in 2025, the partnership reflects our deep Queensland heritage and enduring promise to stand by Queenslanders – from the bush to the city – through banking that’s personal, local, and built around the needs of our customers and communities.

In the first year of our partnership, BOQ and Ekka were awarded Bronze in the International Association of Fairs & Expositions (IAFE) awards, Category 2 – First Time Sponsorship, recognising a debut partnership that delivered standout brand integration, agility, and community impact.

Major Sponsor - Queensland Rugby Union (QRU) & Queensland Reds {yellow-border}

BOQ is proud to once again be a major sponsor of the Queensland Reds. Launching in 2025, our partnership is symbolic of BOQ and Rugby Union’s long and proud history in Queensland and reignites a historic relationship with the Queensland Reds that ran from 1995 – 2005.

Our partnership with QRU brings us even closer to Queensland communities, from grassroots to professional level.

You can see the BOQ logo proudly displayed on the sleeves of the Queensland Reds' playing jerseys, worn by both the men's and women's teams, as well as on the 2026 and 2027 training and warm-up apparel.
