Here are some handy tips to help you complete your tax return.{sub-heading}

View interest earned{yellow-border}

We’ll be sending your annual interest earned directly to the Australian Taxation Office. You’ll be able to view your total interest earned in your myGov account shortly after the end of financial year.

Find current and past Interest Summaries{yellow-border}

For myBOQ Simple Saver, Smart Saver, Future Saver and Term Deposits:

Past statements can be found in your app or internet banking. If you earned interest in the financial year, an Interest Summary will also be listed when available in:

All other accounts:

  • If you’re signed up to receive eStatements, your past bank statements are available online. Simply log in to BOQ Classic Internet Banking{external-link} or Mobile Banking and select ‘eStatements’ from the menu.
  • If you need an interest summary statement, you can send us a secure message through BOQ Classic Internet Banking{external-link} and we can generate one for you. Just log in to Internet Banking, click ‘Messages’ from the top menu and select ‘New Message’.

Calculate interest earned and paid{yellow-border}

If you need to manually calculate interest earned or paid, you can view and export your interest transactions.

myBOQ App

  1. Log in to the myBOQ app.
  2. Tap Accounts.
  3. Select the account you want to calculate interest for.
  4. Select ‘Search transactions’.
  5. Enter the dates for the relevant financial year. For FY26, you will need to search for interest credited to your account from 2 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.
  6. Tap ‘Transaction type’ and select ‘Interest’ and tap ‘Search’.
  7. Calculate the interest you’ve been paid.

myBOQ Internet Banking

  1. Log in to myBOQ Internet Banking{external-link}.
  2. Click the account you received interest in.
  3. Click ‘Filter’.
  4. Enter the dates for the relevant financial year. For FY26, you will need to search for interest credited to your account from 2 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.
  5. Under ‘Transaction type’, select ‘Interest’ and click ‘Apply filter’.
  6. Calculate the interest you’ve been paid.

BOQ Classic

In BOQ Classic Internet Banking{external-link} simply select your account, type in your transaction keyword (for example, ‘interest’ or ‘capitalisation’) and select the date range for the financial year.
