BOQ Bundaberg “25 Words Or Less” Competition

The Promotion

1. Information on how to enter and prize details for the BOQ Bundaberg “25 Words Or Less Competition” Promotion (the “Promotion”) forms part of these terms and conditions. If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other published material, these Terms and Conditions prevail.

2. The promoter is BOQ Bundaberg of 149 Bourbong St, Bundaberg Central QLD 4670 (“Promoter”).

3. The promotion will commence on 15 November 2021 and end on 28 November 2021 (“Promotion Period”). Entries received by the Promoter after the Promotion Period are ineligible to participate in the Promotion.

Entry

4. Entry is open to Australian residents 18 years and over, excluding any directors and employees of the Promoter, an agent of the Promoter, or any other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promotion and their immediate families (an “Eligible Person”).

5. To enter the Promotion, an Eligible Person must, during the Promotion Period, visit the Promoter’s Facebook page (facebook.com/BOQ Bundaberg), click the ‘Like’ button, and post a comment on the competition post in 25 words or less as to “Who your favourite Bundaberg small business is, and why they deserve to win a catered morning tea from us?”.

6. An Eligible Person who meets the criteria under clause 5 will receive one entry in the Promotion (“Eligible Entry”).

7. Each Eligible Participant may enter the Promotion once during the Promotion Period. Any subsequent post made after the first Eligible Entry will be deemed invalid.

8. Each Eligible Participant who makes a post agrees that they are fully responsible for their post and that the Promoter is not liable in any way for the contents of their post.

9. Each Eligible Participant warrants and agrees that:

a)      They will not submit any post that is unlawful or fraudulent, is in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, or is defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening or objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender;

b)      They will obtain prior consent from any person who is mentioned or pictured in their post or whose property is mentioned or pictured in their post;

c)       They will not submit any posts that contain viruses in any computer system;

d)      All posts made by them will comply with Facebook’s terms and conditions and with all applicable laws; and

e)      They will not make any ‘tag’ in any post that they make.

Prize Draw

10. There will be two prizes which is a Platter valued at $75 to the nominated business and a Gift Card valued at $50 to the winning entry.

11. The prize draw will take place at BOQ on 29 November at 9am (“Draw Location”).

12. The Winner will be determined by BOQ Bundaberg and will be assessed on the Eligible Entry which has been selected by the Promoter, in their sole and absolute discretion, as their favourite. The Promotion is a game of skill, chance plays no part.

13. Winner will be announced on the Promoter’s Facebook Page and notified via Facebook private message on 29 November at 10am.

14. In the event that the first drawn winner cannot be contacted within 7 business days the Promoter will conduct a redraw from all remaining Eligible Entries.

15. The prize will need to be collected by the winner within 7 business days of the winner being notified. If necessary, if the winner (subsequent to clause 11) cannot be contacted within 7 business days of a redraw, further redraws will take place every 7 business days until a winner is contacted.

16. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash.

17. All decisions of the Promoters are final.
