If you are an exporter, your customer can arrange for a documentary letter of credit be issued in favour of BOQ, advising payment against certain terms and conditions.
As the exporter, you prepare your documents under the letter of credit and present them to BOQ. If documents are compliant and terms and conditions satisfied, payment will be effected by your customer’s bank.
