Lucky BOQ customer Eliza Bellhouse from Bundamba in Queensland has won the major $20,000* prize in the first draw of BOQ’s Save to Win Account™.
20 year-old Eliza, a customer of BOQ Booval branch, has taken out the major cash prize in the Bank’s first Save to Win Account™ draw since the new account launched in December last year.
BOQ Managing Director David Liddy said he is thrilled that a customer from Ipswich is the first major prize winner.
“We are very happy for Eliza and would like to congratulate her on her big win!” Mr Liddy said.
“Whilst Eliza’s home wasn’t directly damaged by the floods, so many of our customers have been doing it tough lately and lost everything, so it’s really nice to see something good in Ipswich happen again.
“Eliza only just signed up for a Save to Win Account™ with us in late December, so she still can’t quite believe that it was her name pulled out first for the major prize!” he said.
Eliza, who celebrated her 20th birthday last week, said she couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present.
“I am absolutely over the moon about winning the major cash prize in BOQ’s first draw,” she said.

“But I never thought I’d actually win anything, let alone the first major prize! I’m really blown away and still keep pinching myself.”

• Eligible account holders will get the chance to win a share in at least $30,000AU worth of cash prizes each month during the promotion period. This includes a minimum major prize of at least $20,000AU* and lots of other smaller cash prizes too.
Eligibility
• When customers first open a Save to Win Account™, they’ll automatically receive 150 entries into the next month's draw for a major prize of at least $20,000* and other small cash prizes.
