New Bank Branch to Support Growing Community

A new bank branch will open in Bella Vista later this month to support the growing community and will be owned and operated by an experienced local banker.
BOQ Bella Vista, which opens on 21 November, will be owned and managed by local banker Rahul Jethi, who has 12 years in the industry.
Mr Jethi said he was drawn to the area by Bella Vista’s reputation as the future growth centre of the Hills District.
“Having lived and worked locally for many years, I have followed the steady rise of Bella Vista as an attractive home for both residents and businesses alike and I believe there is still huge untapped potential in the area, particularly in the commercial space.
“People are tired of getting up at 6am to drive in to the city each day and I think we will see more and more businesses deciding to run their operations outside of the hugely expensive CBD.
“And where you have the combination of businesses moving operations here and residents looking to work locally, tbere exists a real opportunity for a new business hub to emerge.”
Mr Jethi previously owned and managed the BOQ branch in Blacktown and said he knew the Model worked.
“The Model works because, as Owner-Manager of the branch, the service you deliver to your customers flows through to the size of your wallet at the end of the week, so you have that extra incentive to really go above and beyond for your clients.
“At BOQ Blacktown, I found that my customers became friends and our branch was a genuine part of the local community and I’m committed to building the same ‘community bank’ here in Bella Vista.
“I believe we have a unique service for both residents and businesses alike.
“At the end of the day, I’m like any other local small business person and my business is only as good as the customer service my team and I provide; this means we’ll go out of our way to make an impression.”
Rahul said the branch will offer dedicated personal service, which is all about building relationships with the customer.
“I understand that people want to talk to someone experienced, someone who knows and understands their financial situation and, in our instance, someone who is keen to get to know their business and show them they’re not just another number in the system.”

Rahul will be hosting a sausage sizzle at the new branch between 8:00am and 9:00am on 21 November and encourages locals to drop in and meet the team.
