Your guide to your new BOQ Credit Card
Step 1. Setting up your BOQ Credit Card
Congratulations on your new BOQ Credit Card! You will soon receive it in the mail along with your POS/ATM Pin (which will arrive a few days later).
Once you've received your card
Your POS/ATM PIN can be used to access a worldwide ATM network and it also provides extra security when shopping and dining.
- Be sure to memorise your PIN. Do not disclose it to anyone.
- Don't forget to sign the back of your card.
Follow the steps below to activate your card. You’ll also find some handy links to get you started, including how to access your account in the myBOQ app and myBOQ Internet Banking, and your terms and conditions documents.
Step 2. Activating your BOQ Credit Card
Option 1: Activate using the myBOQ app
1. Open the myBOQ app
2. Tap ‘profile’ then ‘manage cards’
3. Follow the steps to activate your card and set your PIN

Flexible banking
Find Your Nearest BOQ ATM
You can withdraw cash or check your account balance at BOQ ATMs fee-free, however, other ATM owners may charge you a fee. Within Australia, any ATM fees should be displayed on the ATM screen before you proceed with the transaction.
Internet & Mobile Banking
Set up your online and mobile banking at BOQ. Move money, pay bills & more without leaving home!
Statements
Access your statements via the myBOQ app and myBOQ Internet Banking. You will receive an email and/or SMS when it is ready to view.
Statement frequency
You will receive a monthly credit card statement when transactions have been completed within the statement period or when there is an outstanding balance on the card and/or interest has been charged to the account.
Don’t forget that you can view your transactions online.
Card protection
Visa payWave: a simpler, smarter, safe way to pay
For purchases under $100, spend less time at the register with Visa payWave. Simply wave your card over contactless terminals at participating merchants and be on your way.
Secure PIN
For a speedy and more secure way to pay, use your PIN at terminals for purchases over $100. Your four-digit PIN is used as proof of identify when making over-the-counter transactions at selected merchants. It is designed to make things quicker and easier at point of sale and will generally result in a faster and much more secure transaction process.

Lost your card?
Card replacement within Australia
To report a lost or stolen card, call 1300 55 72 72 and follow the prompts. You don’t need to have all cards on your account replaced if a card is lost or stolen, as only the affected card will be cancelled.
Card replacement worldwide
To report a lost or stolen card when you’re outside of Australia, call +61 7 3336 2222 and we will arrange a replacement card. VISA guarantees replacement of a lost or stolen card almost anywhere in the world within 48 hours.
