Notice Regarding a Third Party Data Breach

Bank of Queensland (BOQ) has been made aware of a personal data breach by a third party provider, LandMark White Limited (LMW), who were engaged to conduct property valuations.
BOQ is still determining the full extent of the issue, although it is believed that only a small number of customers have been impacted. It is BOQ’s immediate priority to contact those individuals who have been affected.
The data disclosed related solely to property valuation services undertaken by the third party provider and included customer name and contact details such as phone number and email address, as well as details of the property being valued.
BOQ takes privacy and the responsibility to safeguard customer information seriously. BOQ will continue to investigate this matter and all dealings with LMW have been suspended until further notice.
