Is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank of Queensland Limited specialising in asset, cash flow and structured finance solutions. BOQF is a mid-market financier providing deep industry and product skills to its partner base servicing over 100,000 customers creating long-term relationships. With over 45 years of history in the Australian and New Zealand markets, BOQF is proudly backing your business because we know that the only way we succeed, is if your business does.
BOQ Specialist
Delivers distinctive banking solutions to niche market segments including medical, dental, veterinary and accounting professionals. BOQ acquired the business (previously Investec Professional Finance) as part of Investec Bank (Australia) Limited in 2014. BOQ Specialist operates as a separate division of BOQ's Business Bank.
Virgin Money Australia
Is a digital retail financial services company that aims to provide a wide range of great value financial products that are easy to understand and sort out. Virgin Money is a compelling alternative to the big banks. BOQ acquired Virgin Money Australia in 2013 and it operates as a standalone business within the BOQ Group.
ME Bank
Is a retail bank with a well-recognised brand, offering simple products, in straight forward language, and with an Australian based customer service support. BOQ acquired ME Bank in 2021.

Group Risk
Group Risk’s purpose is to enable the BOQ Group to deliver on its strategy by embedding ‘risk by design’ and providing practical insights to support risk-based decision making.
Our objective is to oversee the risk profile and the risk management framework of BOQ Group to identify, monitor and measure risk on a regular basis. This is supported by the Group Risk Division which includes Group Operational Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, Financial Crime Risk, Regulatory Affairs and Market Risk.
At BOQ Group we aim to be a world class risk function for a bank our size and seek to ensure that there is an acceptable balance between risk and return.

Group Finance
In Group Finance, we are focused on BOQ’s key fiancial activities. This includes; our integrated people strategy, technology architecture roadmap, process improvements to optimise our performance and experience, streamlining reporting to generate insights and drive strong returns, and productivity improvements.
Our team is key in supporting business led initiatives which optimise BOQ's multi-brand strategy and overall business capabilities.

Group Technology
The Group Technology purpose is to provide innovative, digital solutions and to make a difference in re-imagining banking for our customers, shareholders and our people.
It’s an exciting time to be part of Group Technology team as we go through a major digital transformation journey to build a digital bank of the future. We will do this by transforming a 150-year old Bank into a digital native for our customers and our people by simplifying, modernising and driving digital innovation.
People & Culture
People & Culture (Human Resources) is a community of functions which support each of BOQ Group’s business units from start to finish.
This includes:
Operations Support; Learning & Development; Organisational Development; Payroll, Remuneration & Reward; Work Health & Safety; Business Partnering ; Enterprise Capability; Employee Relations; Data and Insights; Recruitment.
People & Culture also delivers employee programs and works with the leadership team to provide strategic HR support.

Business Banking
BOQ is one of Australia’s leading regional banks. We’re committed to creating prosperity for our customers, shareholders and people, and one way we do this is through our Owner-Managed franchised branch model.
Our Owner-Managed branch model makes us different to other banks and it’s this difference that helps us deliver exceptional service to our customers. Branches are owned and run by local people for the local people, supported by our Retail central teams in Support Centres around Australia.
Additionally our Retail group are in the midst of a significant transformation, especially when it comes to uplifting our digital capabilities. We’re investing in our multi-brand strategy, with the acquisition of ME Bank in July 2021and the launch of Virgin Money’s Digital Bank in March 2021.
Transformation & Operations
The Transformation & Operations team drives to be a multi-channel challenger via new channels and with improved services, Group Operations will support these changes whilst constraining expense growth, improving delivery confidence and reducing risk.
To be successful, the Operations division will operate with process efficiency and process outcome transparency, evidenced through service and quality levels that allow commitments to be confidently made to customers whilst ensuring delivery efficiency.

Public Affairs, Communications and Investor Relations
Our Public Affairs, Communications and Investor Relations team puts the Customer at the heart of everything we do at BOQ Group.
It brings together Retail Banking and Business Marketing teams, Brand, Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, Community Investment, Customer Advocate, Customer Experience and the Chief Executive Office functions under one business unit.
Our key purpose is to elevate the voice of the customer in a way that is consistent with our multi-brand strategy and ambition.
