Do I have to have a finance background for the Internship Program? 

No, applications are welcome from Interns from a wide range of disciplines including but not limited to business, banking, economics, accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, marketing, computer science, physics, engineering and/or quantitative finance. 

Is the Intern Program Full Time? 

Yes. Interns in the program will work five days a week for the 10 week program (minus business shutdown over Christmas) in our Newstead, Brisbane office. 

When do I need to graduate? 

Applications are welcome from students who are in their penultimate or final year of undergraduate or postgraduate study. This means you will need to have graduated from your degree by December 2021 to participate.

Will I get a job with BOQ after the 10 week program? 

Upon successful completion of the 10 week program you may be invited back complete an additional 4 weeks over the winter university holidays. Successful completion of the program will rely on you meeting performance milestones. High performing Interns will be first in line for graduate jobs following their university graduation!
