Christmas Spirit Alive at BOQ Bundy West

Friday, 21/11/2008

Bank of Queensland Bundaberg West has partnered with the Salvation Army this Christmas to spread cheer to families in need.

The branch will act as a collection point for goods donations such as non-perishable food, decorations, and non-wrapped Christmas presents such as books and toys which will be packaged into Christmas hampers.

Branch Manager of BOQ Bundaberg West, Jonathan Smith, said his branch staff are delighted to get behind the Salvation Army this Christmas.

“At Bank of Queensland we believe in the gift of giving and supporting the community that supports us,” said Jonathan.

“It’s a good feeling to know that if we all rally together we can help to make Christmas a happier experience for those who may not otherwise have the money to put a Christmas feast on the table and presents under the tree.”

Simply drop donations into the Bundaberg West branch located at Shop 2, 1 Heidke Street up until Friday 19 December 2008, and you’ll ensure many families can be included in the spirit of Christmas.
