Bank of Queensland Tewantin will help the Noosa Cyclones under 18 representative team ‘warm up’ at the State Basketball Classics in Toowoomba by providing them with a new team tracksuit for the event.

BOQ Tewantin Owner-Manager Rod Pertot said he was proud to sign as the sponsor of the Noosa Cyclones and hopes the $1000 donation and new tracksuits helps the team to heat up and stay on top of their game.

“I have a real passion for basketball and have been involved with the Noosa District Basketball Association for more than 15 years as a player, coach and President of the Association and it’s great to be able to give something back to the sport,” Rod said.

Cyclones coach Nick Cooper said he and the team really appreciate the support form Bank of Queensland.

“It’s likely to be pretty cold in Toowoomba in June during the Classics so it will be great that the team will have a new tracksuit kit to help keep them warm.

“I hope it helps us to bring home a trophy!” Nick said.

BOQ Tewantin has been active in supporting the local sporting community recently with a $2,500 donation provided to the Noosa Tigers U18’s this month as well.
